Like a lot of people, I didn't learn DIY from a trade school or spend years working in construction. I learned by diving into projects, making mistakes, finding better ways to do things, and refusing to accept that "good enough" was good enough.
Over time, I realized something.
The hardest part of DIY usually isn't the work itself.
It's figuring out who to trust.
One article tells you to use one product. Another says the opposite. One video skips the most important step. Another assumes you already know what every tool does.
Somewhere along the way, DIY content stopped teaching and started chasing clicks.
